About the NYC Academic Elite
Our goal is to provide student athletes with an opportunity to showcase their basketball talents before and be recruited by some of the best academic institutions in the country. We want to help these students learn more about the great athletic and academic opportunities offered to students by these top academic colleges and universities.
We believe that there are a number of talented student athletes in the NY/NJ metropolitan area that could excel and benefit from the opportunities offered by a number of the most challenging colleges in the country. However, there aren’t opportunities for many of these student athletes and their families to be connected with these schools. Through the format of this event we also hope to help expose elite level student athletes from public, charter, catholic, as well as independent, schools in the NY/NJ metropolitan area to the opportunities offered by top academic institutions.
